The MARTECH team brings together tools and solutions for digital marketing and e-commerce in more than 50 countries. It includes 5 teams dedicated to targeting, content and campaign management, broadcasting, performance measurement and personalisation.

We are looking for our Emailing & Deliverability Expert in our CRM team(Marketing and Communication Solutions) to integrate our new email design, which is applied in over 60 countries and used for mass mailing and transactional emails.

At the heart of the Group's Communications and IT teams, the Martech team's aim is to build and offer an attractive communications/marketing solution for relevant direct marketing, enabling our sports users to make a lasting commitment to the brand and its sports.

To meet these needs, the team designs, references, integrates and maintains solutions used worldwide by more than 50 countries in the following areas:

As part of an internal vacancy, we are recruiting our Emailing & Deliverability Expert (f/m/d), based in Amsterdam.

JOIN THE MARTECH CONTENT TEAM!

The Content feature is staffed by 11 people:

• 1 Product Manager
• 1 Tech lead
• 4 Email integrator
• 4 Software engineers (front and back)
• 1 Tester.

Its objective is to provide Decathlon countries with the new harmonised email charter. To do this, we want to base our code on a framework (Maizzle) and create an email design system. This new identity and the user use cases (transactional emails) will be deployed/translated in 64 countries where Decathlon is present.

To speed up deployment, you will be involved in creating a CI-CD based on Typescript libraries created in-house.

In addition to the HTML integration of this new charter, we want to optimise its testing (QA, TNR, BDD) as well as its automated deployment within Salesforce Marketing Cloud, our current emailing solution.)

You will also be the team's point of contact for monitoring and optimising email deliverability (Everest and ProofPoint).

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED

• Experienced email HTML/CSS integrator (responsive design, dark mode, etc.)
• Mastery of an emailing framework (Maizzle, MJML) and a CSS framework (Tailwind)
• Knowledge of the specifics of HTML email construction (inlining, retrocompatibility, minification, build)
• Salesforce Marketing Cloud expertise (AMPScript, SSJS, GTL)
• Knowledge of CI-CD (Jenkins, Github, Gitlab, etc.)
• Aptitude for new technologies and frameworks
• Autonomy, ability to make suggestions, self-training
• Good understanding of Agile methods
• Service-oriented, communicative, dynamic

Would be a plus

• Knowledge of e-commerce and marketplace platforms (Adobe, MailChimp, etc.)
• Mastery of Everest and ProofPoint deliverability tools
• Experience in direct marketing (emailing, SMS, social media)
• Proficiency in Java, JavaScript and TypeScript programming languages and associated frameworks
